2020 are you Achieving your Goals???

2020 are you Achieving your Goals???

As we are about to begin our 3rd month of this new year..

I wonder where we all are with our goals/resolutions for the new year? Are we still struggling along and making progress or have we absolutely came to a stand still??

I just want to encourage you today to continue on from right where you are!!

Revaluate the changes you wanted to make.

Be intentional.

Set a plan.

Consistency is key.

My Goals for the new year…… Drawing closer to God time in prayer and His word are always my top goals. Before my feet hit the floor I want my mind focused on Him. That my mind is focused on God’s opinion not the opinion of people. More to follow.

Working out 2 or 3 times a week. IN addition to my 15,000 step goal each day. Also taking time to strectch. Continuing on with my consistentencey with not over eating.

Being intentional with my daily schedule. I have to have some structure or a schedule or it seems we get off course. More on our daily schedule in another post.

How have I stacked up the last 2 months???

My top priority in drawing closer to God…I don’t think we can ever say we have achieved this….because we need to continue on and draw even closer. I have been more intentional. I want Him to fill my mind. Very thankful to be able to ask and He will fill me up.

Working out has gone well. I tend to go over board and then slack off. As I have gotten older I want to be more consistent and it seems like then I achieve my goals.

Steps…some days are under 15,000 and some over. Its winter….Im giving myself grace here.

Stretching….yes on days I do a workout dvd. I need more though.

Consistency on not over eating…..for the most part yes. I always need work in this area. But I have maintained 10lbs less this winter than typical. So I am very very happy with that. In the past I have cut back to far and then not been able to maintain that for long. Now I am trying to focus on consistency and moderation.

Our daily schedule…..we did not really have one until the first part of January. We have in the past but the last couple months of 2019, we were just trying to struggle through school and life. So a very flexible schedule has helped so very much for us to achieve our school goals and extra house projects while we are here at home. Its not perfect but it helped. UMMM maybe it will continue to help with blog posts too 🙂

Where are you at with your 2020 goals?? Hang in there….it may not be perfect but just keep putting one foot in front of the other. If you do that….you won’t be in the same spot you are right now.
